Coronavirus in Italy: what it's happening?
Dear Guests, Dear Venetians,
At this time we had in store many anticipations for the new season, we were ready to tell you all the proposals for this spring and summer. But now we have another invitation I want to recommend you: a lot of prudence and sense of responsibility. For us who work and live here and for you as guests, who are our extended family in the world and who have VENICE IN THE HEART:
Italy and Veneto are in the frontline to fight the spread of the virus and, as the General Director of the World Health Organization has also recognised, "The Italian Government has taken extraordinary measures to contain the epidemic COVID19 and to mitigate its social and economic impact". An Italian emergency from Covid-19 managed by our public health, under national coordination, which is proving all its great value. We are proud of it because a health system that works, is the best business card for our region and our city, always loved and dreamt by all the tourists in the world.

The quality of a four stars hotel never discloses itself only in elegance of the furnishings or in the friendly professionalism of the staff. Our quality, is also based on the excellence of the work done day by day to ensure clean and healthy environments!

As a result of these measures, our hotel is also complying with all the directives, which are updated from hour to hour. We are working to sanitize all the premises, with bactericides on an alcoholic basis, and we are still working to design our offer coordinated with the great events that will take place in Venice, this Spring and Summer: from the Architecture Biennale, to the Film Festival, to the many exhibitions of the Venetian Museums, keeping the masterpieces of Italian art; we are developing the offer of hospitality dedicated to our beaches, tours in the lagoon, visits to the islands.
We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience, for any delays in the replies on refunds, but Venice and Italy as one are in a difficult situation to manage, and we hope to find in everyone understanding and solidarity for this moment.
To those who had booked a stay during this period, if it is not possible to guarantee a refund, we will be happy to offer a voucher valid for a whole year:
Venice needs, now more than ever, the support and love of those who visit it, to return stronger than before we need you and your support.
How else can we help?
In this period of forced distance, we would also like to point out that there are different channels of donation in which everyone can contribute both to hospital facilities to help them buy the material needed to support all patients, than to scientific research in order to finance it to find a cure soon. Among these we point out the unique fundraiser of the Veneto Region, to deal whit this emergency situation.
