How To Reach Us

By Plane: From the Marco Polo airport of Venice
Hotel Ruzzini Palace Transfer Service
You may request the hotel's transfer service (fee applies). Upon arrival to the airport, a member of Hotel Ruzzini's staff will be awaiting to accompany you with a private car to the piazzale Roma of Venice. From this point, a water taxi will lead you through the last stretch to the hotel.
By Water
Arrive to the airport dock by taking the internal airport bus. From here, you may reach the airport by:
- taking a water taxi to the hotel;
- taking the Alilaguna (orange line) ferry . After approximately an hour ride, get off at the Rialto stop. Hotel Ruzzini Palace is only 300 meters away. Follow the directions outlined under By Train/Rialto Stop.
By Land
Take the shuttle bus to Venice, and get off at the piazzale Roma stop; the bus and car terminal. From here, you may reach the airport by:
- taking a water taxi to the hotel;
- taking either the ACTV vaporetto waterbus line 2 (14 minute ride) or line 1 (19 minute ride) and get off at the Rialto stop. Hotel Ruzzini Palace is only 300 meters away. Follow the directions outlined under By Train/Rialto Stop.

From the Airport Treviso Canova
Take the shuttle bus to Venice, and get off at the piazzale Roma stop; the bus and car terminal. From this point, continue by:
- taking a water taxi to the hotel;
- taking either the ACTV vaporetto waterbus line 2 (14 minute ride) or line 1 (19 minute ride) and get off at the Rialto stop. Hotel Ruzzini Palace is only 300 meters away. Follow the directions outlined under By Train/Rialto Stop.
By Train: From the Santa Lucia Venice Train Station you'll be able to reach the hotel by:
- taking a water taxi to the hotel;
- taking either the ACTV vaporetto waterbus line 2 (14 minute ride) or line 1 (19 minute ride) and get off at the fermata Rialto. Hotel Ruzzini Palace is only 300 meters away. From the banks, take the lane along Mazzini, turn left in meceria 2 aprile, upon arrival to campo San Bartolomeo, take the Sotoportego and calle della Bissa. Afterwards, cross the bridge and continue along salizada San Lio. Take the fifth lane to the left onto calle del Paradiso and cross the bridge. Turn immediately right to fondamenta dei Preti. At the end of the fondamenta, you will be in campo Santa Maria Formosa. You have now arrived. Hotel Ruzzini Palace will be at your left, on building number 5866.
By Car: You may park you car in one of the parking lots in Piazzale Roma (ask the garage receptionist about their discounted rates for Hotel Ruzzini Palace guests), the bus and car terminal, or the Tronchetto (the large parking structure at the right-hand end of the Libertà Bridge). From piazzale Roma take the ACTV vaporetto waterbus line 2 (14 minute ride) or line 1 (19 minute ride) and get off at the Rialto stop. From this point, follow the directions as outlined under the By Train/ Rialto Stop section. From the Tronchetto, take the ACTV vaporetto waterbus line 2, get off at the Rialto stop, and from this point, follow the directions as outlined under the By Train/ Rialto Stop section.
